The Fanatic TV DVD uses the PAL video standard. Depending on the country you live in, your player may or may not support this format. NTSC is mainly used in North America while much of the rest of the world uses PAL or SÉCAM. If you do not know what your country uses, consult this diagram. If your country uses a standard other than PAL, this does not mean that you cannot play the DVD. However, if you wish to play the DVD in a regular DVD player, you must first check to see if the player and/or the television support PAL (many do). Computers can play any video standard, so if you have a DVD-ROM drive, you do not need to worry about this.
